Our Story

Hello, I'm Isabelle —
and this is my dream.

Growing up, I watched my grandmother stitch stories into every piece of cloth she touched. She taught me that clothing is never just fabric — it's memory, identity, and care woven together.

After years working in the fast fashion industry and growing increasingly uneasy with what I saw, I decided to build something different. Solène was born in 2022 from my small flat in Bangalore — just me, a sewing corner, and an obsession with finding the most beautiful sustainable fabrics in India.

"Every piece I create is something I'd want to wear myself — something that lasts, that breathes, that you'll reach for again and again."

Today, Solène works with 14 certified artisan cooperatives across Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Tamil Nadu. Every thread tells a story of fair wages, traditional craft, and a deep respect for the earth.

What sizes do you carry? +
We carry XS through XL. Each product page has a detailed size guide with measurements. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a relaxed fit.
How long does delivery take? +
Standard delivery takes 3–5 business days across India. Express 1–2 day delivery is available for major metros. All orders are carbon-offset.
Can I return or exchange items? +
Yes! We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unworn with tags attached. Exchanges are free; refunds are processed within 5–7 business days.
Are your fabrics truly sustainable? +
Absolutely. We use GOTS-certified organic cotton, European linen, and deadstock silk. We publish our full supply chain on our Transparency page.
Do you ship internationally? +
Currently we ship to India, UAE, UK, and Singapore. We're working on expanding this list. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when we reach your country.
How do I care for my garments? +
Most pieces are machine washable on a gentle cold cycle. We include care labels in every garment and a care card in your parcel with tips to extend the life of your clothing.
